A Tip Of The Hat To Senator Dorgan
Senator Byron Dorgan (Democrat from North Dakota) deserves a tip of the hat for squashing the Treasury Department from hiring a cartoonist.
You read that correctly, the Treasury Department was going to hire a cartoonist and a humor consultant. Give the Senator credit he did not find any humor in the report of the job posting and the Treasury Department quickly withdrew the solicitation after being contacted by Dorgan.
Perhaps the Senator agrees with this writer that the Treasury Department is a joke itself and doesn’t need any more help in the humor department.
