Three Recent Examples of Why Media Can’t Be Trusted
In the last three days, across the media spectrum, we find three reasons that the media can’t be trusted to be unbiased and report facts.
1. Rick Sanchez, of CNN, labeled an amendment to the House of Representatives healthcare bill a “conservative Republican challenge of health care reform.” Is Sanchez biased or stupid? The answer to the question is your choice, since the Stupak Amendment was written by Bart Stupak, a Democrat.
2. Hiding behind the fact that the discovery of the fraud behind global warming science was obtained illegally, the NY Times did not publish much of the obtained information referring to its method of discovery rather than the importance of the information. This from the same NY Times that had no problem disclosing classified information that gave terrorists information about how the United States gathered said information.
3. The medias continued use of the vulgar “teabagger” reference to those of the tea party movement. When one compares the coverage of the tea party movement and the ACORN scandals the media bias is undeniable. It will be interesting to see if the latest move by ACORN to destroy evidence requested by the Attorney General of California will be reported. The media will probably report that the documents were found in a dumpster rather than the fact that the documents were attempted to be destroyed.
Just three examples of why the media is losing the confidence of the American public at a rapid pace.
